Maybe premature.  Said he's stabilized and they were able to do some surgery overnight.  Maybe we'll have to break these posts out.

No...I gave those up a while back...used to leave Richmond in the early am on weekends with the temp at or below freezing. 

No windshield on the King.  Not fond memories...

BTW...there were a few snow flurries down here at 4:00 this morning...kinda wish they'd have continued...

It's a game time decision but it looks like a go.    I have no windshield or fairing or heated gear ...  just me in the breeze.   Hope to ride with a group of regulars.

I'm doing my traditional long NYD ride, but it's a lot easier to stay warm when you're pumping pedals.  Assuming one eats about 3000 calories beforehand

Looks like the weather will co-operate for both of us.   As far as staying warm, I often joke that's why they made so many 7/11's/McDonald's/Wendy's/Stabucks, etc.    :)    It's all about layers.
