That's what I'm in favor of.

I hate this "control room in NYC" BS they are going with.

Control room in NYC. Isn't that how the NHL does it? Don't they review every goal in every game?

Not sure about NHL. I know MLB does it that way, though.

Their control room for goal review is in Toronto.

The NHL in Toronto, well, of course that makes sense. But I was making the point that the NHL has a centralized goal review location.

If MLB wants to offer a carrot to the Ump's Union, hire an additional 4 man crew, and post the replay HQ as part of the regular rotation. Then you'd have a four man crew to look at and discuss any situation that arrives.
