This reminds me so much of the Caps in the 80s on a power play. I can remember sitting in our STH spot and yelling, "Shoot the damn puck !!"
It hasn't changed - Caps are still making back-up goalkeepers look like Vezina candidates (see Halak in the 2010 playoff series against Montreal, among other things - no change in perimeter-orientated offence).
Caps make bad goalkeepers look good...Nats make struggling pitchers look good...and so it continues.

Not a good night for the local sides generally - Mystics lost their season opener at Connecticut 89-73 (Alana Beard out with injury, but teams generally lose anyway when they allow their opponent to hit 57% from the floor including 8-for-16 three-pointers).
