You really think we would take a 5 year extension to get paid far less than the other GM's, an assertion that was totally groundless in the first place? He'd be trying to get out of town as quick as possible.

I'm just playing devil's advocate and pointing out your erroneous conclusion.  As to your response - job security is job security.  I'm sure Zimmerman kicks himself every day for signing the deal he signed after the last two seasons he's had, but he signed it nonetheless.

Mock wasn't drafted by the Nats.

Mock might of been Rizzo's guy in Arizona, but Byrnes had final say there.
