I'm going to have a damn aneurysm. HIS STATS ARE FINE. HE WILL IMPROVE. THIS TEAM DOES NOT NEED A TOP CLOSER. THEY SUCK AND DONT PLAY CLOSE GAMES. OMFG SHUT THE F UP ABOUT HIS STATS. THE POINT IS THAT THIS TEAM SUCKS. THE BULLPEN IS GOOD. DEAL FROM STRENGTH. Sheesh.

I'd hate to see Drew Storen become the next Chad Cordero and watch this team miss a prime opportunity to improve itself.

I don't care if he's Huston Street, I'd still trade him and put Bally or Peralta in for the 9th.

Right, just like Andrew Bailey for Oakland.  If we're still flailing as he approaches free agency then maybe, but right now, he's not a luxury, he's still a bit of a prospect who's learning and developing.  It doesn't really make sense to trade him right now.   Way, way, way to early to consider that unless Rizzo gets an over the top offer.
Soria is a luxury.

Storen will probably get better, but he doesn't look anywhere as good as Capps. Clearly not ready. Overall, the bullpen is better than it was when Chief got hurt and they traded Rauch.

Here's hoping that Ramos turns out well. No, he hasn't played enough that anyone can make a judgement.

Yeah, that's probably a better example.

DEAL FROM STRENGTH.
I'd have no problem dealing from strength, but Storen wouldn't be the one I'd deal at this piont.

Ok but that's a rational argument, not yelling haterade before actually reading the post  If you can get value from a Peralta, do it!

I'd deal storen over the rest of the pen because he has the proven closer stamp

Hopefully.  But he won't be traded next year either.  Or the year after that and probably not the year after that either.  If then, we're still where we are, then I'm sure he'll be on the trade block.

His value would probably be gone by then.

I'm expecting to be winning by then so it won't be an issue.
