Chad pitching twice in the same day...

Replcing Fick with Schneider, to prevent steals.  I don't think this is a Crying Game.

Bringing in chief after pitching earlier today is a bad move IMO...nothing against chief but its a risk.

It does beg the question, why not make the substitution at the start of the inning?

Another head scratcher from our beloved manager.

Frank only brought Schneider in because the leadoff runner got and is a very efficent basestealer. otherwise Fick would've stayed in

He pitched 19 pitches over 2 innings.  Kind of questionable strategy, but kind of fun for the fans too!

I agree completely.  He needed to rest the arm, AND it's a lot cooler.  I don't want him tearing a tendon and being worthless for a year or two...He had to warm up TWICE...

Looks like the only thing he'll be getting is a save

Yeah, I really dont consider him a threat in the batters box, although he is.  I always say, how the hell is he gonna get a hit with that stance?

He played for the Brewers when i lived in Milwaukee and ironicalli when i was playing baseball. I remember one game i tried to bat like him. Everybody starting laughin and the ump even asked me was if i was ready and twice he stop the pitcher in his windup becuz he thought i wasn't ready. Oh and i went 0-3 three that day

...ironically, last night's final out (the aforementioned Craig Counsell) was also the very first batter in the Nats' world-premiere home opener.
