I've never been so disgusted with Acta.

Doesn't he ever get tired of spouting that tired horsecrap over and over?

Face it.  You're ALWAYS this disgusted with Acta.
He's not actually there; it was a videotape from a press conference from last year...

MASN is about to air Dunn's comments. should be interesting.

Him and Villone who have been the most vocal in the press were more responsible than anyone for this loss.

Dunn: "what do you want me to say, I'm a bad base runner, because I'll say it"

I like that he owns up to it.

At least he gives a freak unlike the other 24 players, managers, and the fans (10 fans remaining at the game notwithstanding).

he doesn't give a freak. Just fits in with the rest of these bums. He is not a difference maker. That play at 2nd was absolutely inexcusable. If that had been Hernandez or Dukes they would have been benched on the spot.

Dunn has been atrocious with the bat lately too. all or nothing and the HRs aren't frequent enough to make up for all of his other deficiencies.

Thank god we only signed him for 2 years.

who would you rather have trotting out in LF and batting 4th every day? maxwell? milledge? dunn is better than anyone else we have and makes the offense potentially solid.

that was hilarious. Dunn was getting bitter too.

He's full of crap. This is the most lackadaisical locker room I have ever seen. We are historically bad yet no one ever calls anyone out or starts crap. They just expect to lose and accept their fate as the worst team in baseball. They aren't embarrassed like they should be.

he's an adequate stop-gap and I have acknowledged so before. we aren't going to win with him though.

If you get off on seeing a guy hit 40 bombs while striking out 175 times, batting .230, and playing terrible defense that's fine. but I don't.

I'm glad you have access to the locker room to know what happens off camera.  He made a mistake.  He admits it.  He seemed upset that he made the mistake.  WTF do you want, for him to start crying?

i dont watch baseball to get off, but i'll take the 40 bombs when last year's leader had 14. plus, he's an awesome redneck (as much as a rich country boy can be)

WTF! it wasn't even close at second. Bard must be slower than Carlos Baerga.

I actually used that exact comparison here recently when someone was asking if Nieves was really faster than Bard.  I'm not joking when I say I bet *I* could outrun Bard.

You could outrun Bard if you were running on your hands.

SF is on record that our team is filled with nothing but bums. Zimmerman also has not proven to be much of a difference maker. I guess we can say the same about Flores and Lannan and the rest.

I especially like how SF manages to make it sound like Zimm wasn't at fault for flying out to end the game "they jammed him" - subtle, but it definitely has the feel of "not his fault"

And we all know that if Dunn had flied out to end the game, SF would have gone on a multi-paragraph rant.
