Think we can get 3 more outs without allowing 6 runs to score?

I THINK SO.

I never feel relief when our relief pitchers are in.

...even with a 6 run lead in the bottom of the 9th.

The loss of Ayala and Carrasco is such a backbreaker.  Remember when we had the best bullpen in the major leagues last year?

I, officially, believe that the Phillies stink.

I think we can finish ahead of them.

I would have let Traber face more batters, but he'd thrown 91 pitches.  With a nice lead, FR probably wanted to keep his confidence up by relieving him before he got into trouble.  We need a starting southpaw.  FR ought to bring Livan in as a pinch hitter and then use him as a short reliever, until he can stop giving up earned runs.    :D

Well, as long as the Nats have chitt for brains Frank Robinson managing, this is what Nats fans will have to live with... I wonder if people believe me now, when I say, FR stinks as a manager.

I don't understand why you have anything against FR. May I remind you that in his four year as manager of this ball club, he has only one losing season. And him being able to do this with all the distraction this franchize has faced is amazing. I think the new owners will not let go of Frank especially since he just got his 1000th career win. I mean I know FR makes some of the MOST RIDICOULOUS calls in baseball history (pinch hitting in middle of at bat, having eischen pinch hit for picther) but nevertheless he is a good manager who has a don't-put-with-crap attitude. Besides, who else could handle Guillen.

I'm not gonna quote any of your post about Frank Robinson, because you are seeing him through tinted glass.

I've watched Frank Robinson manage the Expos for three years, attending about 200 games during that period. I've seen both players and coaches need to give Frank a nudge to wake him up during crucial times in many, many games. I've seen him make lineup changes that would baffled an idiot. I've seen Frank make more dumb ass moves, than is normal for 10 managers, let alone just one.

Yes, Frank was an incredible player, but as a manager he stinks, he doesn't have a winning record with ANY TEAM he's ever been with. He's had teams that SHOULD have done better than they did, but any wins those teams got, were got in spite of Frank Robinson, not because of him. Frank Robinson is the National's manager, because they cant afford anything better.

This is my 5th year watching Frank, and in all that time, I've only ever seen him make ONE move that mystified me, and where that move resulted in the team winning because of it. Frank Robinson should be the Nats Ambassador of good will, not its manager....
