Wasn't sure where would be the right place to put this but the Bob Davids Chapter of SABR (Society for American Baseball Research) has just sent out an announcement about their annual meeting. The day-long meeting will take place at the Sheraton Columbia Hotel in Columbia, Maryland, on January 26. The details aren't up on the site yet but if anybody's interested I can send them info. One of the speakers is to be Marshall Purnell, one of the architects for the new Nationals ballpark. The meeting is open to members, non-members, and guests. Advance tickets are $25 for SABR members and visitors ($30 at the door), and they include a lunch buffet.
