Respectfullydisagree.  After three innings I switched to the Reds telecast.  After six innings I switched to an Ian Desmond bloopers marathon...

...Desmond conceded that he had bad Aprils.  That is partially true.  He had bad Aprils, Mays, and Octobers.

The Bob Marley look is out.

I enjoyed his candor if nothing else.  He answered Bob's question about why Nats players typically didn't stick around longer than they did, couldn't understand why CJ attempted to steal 3rd, and a few other nuggets.

He had his ups and downs and could frustrate the crap out of me with his swing for the fences at-bats.  I did find him to be very personable with fans during his playing days - the complete antithesis of Employee #11.

He was really kind of the stereotypical jock...not much between the ears.  But opposed to many baseball players, he was quite athletic...

Ian Desmond spotted our CalsGR8 wearing a Desmond jersey at a Nats-Phillies game. Walked over and gave her his batting gloves. A good guy.

I liked his talk with Bob last night. Not much of a Nats game, though. Need to be an experience professional to talk up a 4-hitter by the Nats.
