They must be desperate to report higher ticket sales.  They should just schedule a few more concerts...

I'd show up for a scoreboard race where they show Rizzo in a grand prix car, trying to surpass the Marlins for lowest active payroll by the deadline.

Six bucks a game ain't bad, especially for those with in-game wanderlust.

I don't wear jerseys or that would be a pretty solid deal.

Trading actual MLB games for gimmicks...so very Lerner-ish...

What gets me is discounting things that were absurdly priced to the point that they're only semi-reasonably priced and thinking that's going to get people through the gates.

I looked and it $89.99 for the last three field sections on the 1B and 3B side.  Nit sure of game restrictions.  Wouldn’t most games be cheaper to buy Seat Geek?

Man, where were these deals when I was in my 20's, single, and could have plausibly attended 81 baseball games without sitting down at any of them.

If you stand behind section 313, there is a ledge to hold refreshments and nearby picnic tables if you want a break from standing. I could do entire games well into my sixties simply by moving around every two or three innings. Beer helps with the motivation to move.

Standing could be tough on a weekend game with a big crowd. As blue911 points out, a not heavily attended weeknight game has a lot of ledges and tables with decent to good sight of the field and video board.

Just going to like half the games would be worth it for someone close by. And you can get all the giveaways you want.

This. I could walk to games so I always had the just go home option if it became too much of a pain.
