Really sick of watching Woods get rung up on pitches that are clearly balls. I don’t know if the umpires are trying to prove a point to the rookie, but it’s ridiculous. Seems to happen once a game.

Tanner seemed to know how ri opitch. By my count, he struck out the side. The only Nats pitcher who looked like he belonged in the majors.

You know it must be grim when even the ever optimistic official-line 'nats.com' criticizes our starter for failing to get out of 4, and describes the offence as 'virtually nonexistent'. Perhaps they feel that it's now so late in the season that it doesn't matter anymore?... ;)
