Jayson Werth's horse, Dornoch, finished 10th at the Kentucky Derby 2024, much better than expected. He had won a race to qualify.
 


Dornoch is coming off a fourth-place finish at Blue Grass Stakes in early April. Here's a full look at how Dornoch has performed in recent races:

I don't think Werth was part of naming the horse. Otherwise, it would have Michaela Morse (since it is a filly).
