Old MLB Fan Forum
« on: August 24, 2022, 07:02:27 pm »
We are lucky to have a fan forum that is well organized and easy to follow and participate in but I do miss the old MLB forum. Not so much for Nats talk, although I miss the back and forth with some of the old members, mostly because I could easily go to other teams home page and access that teams fan forum in a standard format. Every team seems to have some kind of fan forum but I can't find any that are organized to my liking. I guess it was too easy to criticize MLB on their own pages for their liking.

MLB killed the fan boards pretty quickly as well, with little notice.  That's why I moved over here, since I can only deal with a limited number of Rookie Monsters who throw said rookies under the bus after 40 at-bats or 20 innings pitched.

Like you, the reason I liked the MLB boards is that you could easily check in on the other teams.  I loved reading the Mets board in 2016 when Daniel Murphy hit home runs practically every game against them.

That's one of the things about not being a contender these days - we don't get many (any?) trolls.  Cardinals fans coming here to cast shade were always good for a laugh, like watching a drunk uncle hitting on a bridesmaid.
