He's a Boras guy too.  He could have probably got what 300 million guaranteed in 2020?   Now, do the Dodgers even keep him next year?

Chris Davis comes to mind (although his numbers weren't quite as good). He got his franchise-depleting contract, though.

there is no way the dodgers offer him arbitration.  Even if they offered him a 20% pay cut, which I think is the maximum, that's still $13-14 million.  They are deep into the luxury tax, so that's more like a $20 million contract.  He would have a tough time getting $10 million on the open market. They may decline arbitration and negotiate an even lower salary.  This is even before you get into the question of guys he may be blocking.  Taylor and Betts are signed, Lux plays OF, so there's not a need.

Harper. His numbers slipped after the 2015 MVP. Now they have rebounded.

Ok. I’m just kidding.

Bellinger market.  Brings D, base running, and some return of patience at the plate after a couple of bad years. May be helped by the shift ban.  Possible fits and signs of interest in Toronto and SF.

A list of potential suitors and players list 10 teams interested but unknown likelihood.  (Bellinger is #127)
