Dude demanded 35 mil a year. He should pitch when he's tolz to pitch.

I assumed it was Martinez trying to respect his vets and asking Strasburg which one he wanted.  Fine - and Strasburg pitched well - but man, ya gotta win the damn game.

If you look at the bullpen choices, it sure looked like he was punting the first game, even though it was close.

While we hit Fried and had trouble with Ynoa, the road to a split would have been to stack the lineup against Ynoa and have the Fedde-Fried game as the spring training line up.
