Probably nothing at all.    I haven't been following baseball much since the end of our season, until the last week or so.    I guess I was flashin' back to his hurt feelings when fans questioned his hustle.     I don't know if he was in on Boras "joke".     As mentioned however, he should tell Boras to cut the BS and keep it between them and the team.

I’ve said all along that I want Harper to stay.

But if I was running the team, my max offer would be 25 million a year and no more. And he wouldn’t sign for that I think.

But Rendon needs to stay. And I can’t let him walk. I can’t lose guys like Rendon, Turner, Soto to give Bryce 400 over 10 years.

If you can sign Harper and still keep the young talent we have then ok. But I’m not seeing the math.

If he performs like 2015 he'll own the town where ever he goes. If he hits 250, doesn't hussle to first, and disregards the concept of a cut off man he'll be hated. Here he's Teflon. Good question about whether that matters to him, I think it does.

From reading the article in today's Post, I'm thinking the Phillies are the Nats main competition. If the Dbacks were in a spending mood (they're not), I'd have liked their chances as a long shot.

Even at $35 million a year teams with giant TV contracts will be able to afford Harper and build a team around him. I'd also expect Harper to demand at least a limited no trade clause.
