Anyone have any suggestions for parking around the arena for a Wizards game?

Pro Tip. There are two (maybe three if small cars) non metered spots on seventh street just north of constitution. Before Pennsylvania. They are reserved for government vehicles during the day and then no parking at all until 6:30. So if you get there are 6:20 or 6:25 you can usually snag one. If you get to the parking meter spots you have gone too far. Haven't parked there in a couple years so no guarantee as they may have changed.

thanks, used that and found a valet garage 1 block from the arena for $20, found an on-line coupon for $7 off as well.  Whoo hooo!

MSE announces major renovations @ the ATM.  Renderings look pretty good. 

I'm guessing they can start construction right after the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs...

We park under the Renaissance Hotel, entrance at 801 I Street (next to the City Tap House). Flat $15 if you enter after 5:00, and the garage is a full square block with no stack parking.

I used the valet at 755 G (corner of 8th and G). Easy in/out and just $20 before SpotHero discount.
