Big win. Need a good one from Max tomorrow. No confidence in Gio on Sunday.

Syndegaard "arm fatigue" says Mets post-game.

That's another way of saying "we have no idea what's up with his arm."

Wasn't it his buddy Darling who was questioning Stras's manhood a couple of years ago? They can both eat me.
I am not sure. Every time I hear Darling's voice I automatically fall asleep.

Gee. I wonder if it has anything to do with all the innings he pitched last year.

I agree. Mets said "not elbow"...as if that's what everyone would assume.

Syndegaard told Terry Collins: "My arm went dead. I lost it. No pain."

Rivera jumped out there because he threw a 92 fastball.

Whining about umpires...   :lmao:

Mint, check the Pitch f/x from last night. Giolito got squeezed. He shat the bed too, but he was getting dogged on the calls. You're just gonna let the umpshow go on?

Strasburg's 12-0. Quite a shocker. The dude's become the best pitcher on the staff. Awesome!

Where's Smithian? I know he's loving it. He's right (two games in)!

Also let tonight be a lesson why I never want Harper to play CF. The Mets have been playing with fire with Cespedes in CF and it finally burned them.

Not that much of a shocker.  People forget that Strasburg is just 27 years old.  He's at the age where most pitchers are just beginning to enter their prime.  As a phenom, he's been in the majors a lot longer than most pitchers his age but it's not particularly surprising that he only seems to be reaching his full potential now.
