Sorry, I snapped. Can't take any more card counting minutia. It just wouldn't stop.

This my thread, and frankly, it would be much improved with you not posting in it.

I just grabbed an image, but frankly I don't give a crap whose thread it is and your opinion about who should post in it. As long as we're being frank. Go frank yourself.

Mmm hmm. Well don't police my thread and I won't have to push the "view ignored post" and set you straight.

I just want you to know I didn't unignore this one. Shouldn't have looked at the other one either.

Shouldn't this exchange be in the food thread?     :)

The ignore button is for the weak.

You need to get out and about why.

no it isn't. It is for those who don't want to trip into a flame war and then get booted for a  few days.  We haven't had to do that all year.  Most folks have caught on.

I have one person on ignore right now. It's good for a reset. I'm thinking about unignoring them for the playoffs :)

The problem with ignore is that after someone else responds to the person you are ignoring, you lose the conversation. Different strokes.

The ignore button is for ignoring people whose posts are consistently worthless.  It's like skipping the commercials on a DVRed TV show.

The "hole" in the ignore system, whereby you see the quoted posts of the ignored person, actually works perfectly for me. It means I get to see the posts that someone thought were worth responding to, while relegating the majority of the poster's content to the ether.

I rarely quote posts just to say I agree with them, but this is one such instance.  I have found this quirk of it quite useful as well.

Me too. The only reason I got curious and clicked this time is because he replied only with a picture.
