Sweet deal.  You have to check out the north shore sometime during the winter to see the surf.

I was at Big Beach in Maui in September and I got my ass kicked. People were dying that week. Warnings everywhere.

It's pretty scary.  I saw Waimea once when the waves were like 30 feet and lots of surfers in there. Crazy dudes.

Well this got derailed quickly   my phone's screen is apparently pulling away from the back of the phone so it wasn't all aligned properly or something but my neighbor got it fixed for now, anyway. Ok, I'll leave you to your Hawaii talk now, enjoy your time there Whytev!

The question though, is how did you celebrate the 1st?

Went to dinner and watched a parade then had my sister and her husband over and watched the fireworks on my roof. Got married on the 30th, so spent most of the 1st kind of tired and a little dazed.

BACK ON TOPIC: My iPhone blacked out yesterday and couldn't be turned back on for a while. Now it's back buy the thumb sensor doesn't work. And when I go in to reprogram it it just says "failed" right away.

Hmm that sounds like the "black screen of death" that happens when an iPhone overheats, did you have it out in direct sunlight?  The thumb sensor should be an easy fix at one of those cell kiosks they have in malls, my daughter got hers fixed for I think $25 at one of those.

It's really hot in Hawai'i! Thanks though, I'll try that when I get home!
