Hart should have just struck out there...no chance they can win down 9-0 with 2 out in the bottom of the 9th...  :stir:
Not against the 2015 Nats... the 2009 or 2011 Nats possibly.

Kinda sad that they couldn't score again after the first inning but they have an off day to figure out hitting again.

I still can't believe we swept the pirates.

I was convinced they just can't lose.

ugh. This is why the Pirates don't lose. They put the ball into play and score runs. High quality bottom of lineup that can produce.

There must have been quite a few Pirates supporters in the ballpark for these three matches - on the radio broadcasts I heard quite a bit of cheering for Pirates hits/plays/player intros. Must be recent bandwagoners, no doubt - they never used to bring numbers to Nats Park (heck, until they started winning they never used to attend matches in their own ballpark).

All the same, those three broadcasts were a delightful bit of listening.

I looked over toward the best seat in the house.    Didn't see ya.    Hope you're feelin' better.

Pirates' fans weren't too bad Sunday.   Got real quiet at the end of one.    :)

Sadly I haven't been to the ballpark in well over a month. I'm feeling better these days but am still not back up to waiting out 35k+ crowds at the Metro (I still have problems standing for long periods of time) or attending evening matches (too medded-up), and one of my meds requires me to avoid large quantities of direct sunlight...thankfully I've been, for the most part, successful in selling my tickets so (1) I don't take a big monetary loss and (2) other people can enjoy the best-in-the-house view.

Might give Thursday's 16.05 first pitch a try if the weather looks right.
