This team is infuriating to watch.  The lack of a gameplan that works is apparent, and Desmond's woes go beyond not being into his routine.  He's the opposite of sure-handed, and has many holes in his swing.  I'd say we're three-five weeks away from Walters full-time.

So I couldn't watch the game (see Mitlen it's not my being in the gamethread that makes them play poorly!) and I saw the score and thought blech but reading these comments about Williams is SO much more troubling, did he really seem like a deer in the headlights?? SO worrisome  :nervous:
I knew they should have hired Dave Martinez I knew it!!! If Williams sucks it up as manager we are freaking DOOMED!!!!!

I apologize for thinking it was you (:)).    Clearly, this team is playing stinkin' ball regardless of who's in the game day thread.

Heck I was starting to think it was me too   I've never been much on rationality, especially about sports
Welp no where but up for this team to go I suppose

by the time Wainwright hit his 2B, most of the fans left were Cards fans.

Sounded like it was just about all Cardinals supporters in the late innings, from the radio broadcast (they usually do bring pretty sizable numbers here).
