I'm so offended, you didn't even consider my half-Christmas/half-Hannukah/half-Kwanzaa upbringing. Happy Christhanukwanzaa to you too, you selfish nag.
Happy Holidays!

Has anyone ever done one of those "NASCAR driving experiences"? Ms1995hoo gave me a trip to one of those at the speedway down in Richmond. Part of it is driving a stock car around the speedway.

I've done the Richard Petty Driving Experience at a number of tracks all around the country over the past 10-12 years.  I also did the Mario Andretti deal in Miami about 4 years ago.

The NASCAR and Mario experiences seem to be affiliated.  Not much instruction with these programs, they basically turn you loose on the track after a brief intro, though they will have someone coaching you thru the helmet speaker as you go around.  Unlike the Petty deal, there is a rev limiter, so mashing the throttle doesn't pay dividends.

Richmond is a pretty tough track to get around compared to the 1.5 mile ovals...3/4 miles and steep banking...so you'll think you were going faster than you really were.

We bought a few laps in a Ferrari at Summit Point for my son's birthday in February.
