Another terrible offensive (in many ways) game for the NATS when Strasburg starts.

They are pathetic - you dont score a run in the top of the 8th to take the lead and then give up two in the bottom and then leave runners 3rd in the ninth with 1 out, just awful....

Joe West and Angel Hernandez may be pompous asses, but Meals is by far the worst home plate umpire in MLB

Runner on 3B with one out an down a run, you bunt. I had lost the TV; only had MLB gameday, but what was Ramos trying?

Phil Wood and Sal from Leesburg.

Phil's part seems to have moved up higher on his head...

Disgusting situational hitting as has been the case all season.

Rizzo needs to make a big push to in the offsesason to acquire a catcher that can push Ramos and not simply be a scrub backup.

Hey, Bryce, when you're wondering why we don't show up to games in a week and a half, this game is the reason.

My internet was down when Ramos was at-bat but he should have been pinch hit for.  You didn't need a homerun or even a hit.  You just needed a competent at-bat.

I would have gone with Lombardozzi or Span.  With Lombardozzi, you also could have squeezed, which the Genius Davey never would have done.

They went up last night. Probably slept in though.

+1.

That's playing baseball to win. The other stuff is trying to get on ESPN highlights. Further, I'd have promoted Eury Perez and run for LaRoche. One bobble and Perez makes third.

That should be worth 2 wins: the Phillies had a corner INF of Kevin Frandsen and Pete Orr and still beat the Nats with Strasburg starting.

How is it that we keep losing to these horrible ass teams playing Minor league scrubs? Sickening.

The dumb sports chick on Channel 4 just pronounced Jimmy Rollins' last name as Roll-ins (as in "rock and roll").  Twice.

I noticed that Rollins kept fouling pitches. He's only hitting about .245, but that's a world series hitter. Meaning: the Nats need a few more guys like Werth who can hit to win. Ramos and Rendon were the wrong guys to hit in the 9th. Maybe some day...
