Jim Johnson dude, he is such a choke job.
Yeah, I have Jim Johnson on my WNFF fantasy team,  Mr Choke leads MLB with the most Saves at 39.

The Nationals would be 118-0 if they'd won all their games this season.

That one hot chick behind homeplate for the early half of the game was hot.

Do like my sister, just go minesweeping out in the Loft.  Anything half full or less is fair game.  Might want to take some doxycycline when you get home.

Your sister sounds like my type of party girl.... number?

Yep, not only is he destroying the Orioles' playoff chances but also the Nats'.

I'll take that trade off.

Comparative dates on which the Nationals notched their 58th win, each season:

2012 - 25th July (97th match of season)
2005 - 4th August (108th match)
2013 - 13th August (118th match)
2011 - 16th August (120th match)
2007 - 23rd August (128th match)
2006 - 2nd September (135th match)
2010 - 4th September (136th match)
2008 - 16th September (151st match)
2009 - 3rd October (161st match)

---

Interestingly, although we still have a bit over a quarter of the season left, this Giants series is our final out-of-division home series of the season - our remaining home series are Marlins, Mets, Phillies, Braves, and Marlins again (four matches this time), in that order. (We still have away series against the Cubs, Royals, Cardinals and Diamondbacks.)

Use National Airport.[...]

Not an option for direct flights to Europe (which is what all my flights since November 2005 have been).

Also, about the 5A bus - I gave it a dry run some years ago and it's not bad, but with one caveat: they use regular Metrobus rolling stock with no extra room for luggage, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're carrying checked baggage. My normal route to Dulles is the ART-42 bus (stops right by the apartment block I reside in), then Metro from Clarendon to West Falls Church, then the Washington Flyer bus; going back I use a Washington Flyer cab.

The announced attendance of 27,304 is our lowest home turn-out since Tuesday 2nd July (24,897 for second Brewers match).

Still no word on Ramos?

Per the match story in the Post he 'aggravated his left hamstring'; listed as 'day-to-day'.

Possibly (weather.com had 50% chance of rain at 19.00 and 20.00 - which of course ultimately came true).  That would be borne out if we get a bigger turn-out tonight amid no rain and expected temperatures in the low-to-mid 70's.

When I was looking round from my seat yesterday at the rather low turn-out I was thinking more in terms of the start of Redskins pre-season drawing casual fans away from following baseball, along with the drop-off we've normally started experiencing this time of year as playoff qualification begins to look increasingly unlikely.
