I would take .500 from now until the All-Star break to be 7-8 games above .500 at the ASB. Then I'd like us to be 10-11 games above .500 going into September.

Right. The board would meltdown if we went at a pace that delivered us at .500 at the ASB.

Yeah, but 11 games over means they have to go 19-12 in September/October just to win 90 games (which should be about what the Nats need for the playoffs).

If you answered no, you won. If you said .500 until the all-star break, you lost. The Nats went 23-17 in that brutal stretch, so they are now 15 games over .500
