Hey Guys,

I pulled this out of the music thread as I wanted to highlight this specifically.  As you already read, Alison Krauss, Union Station, Jerry Douglas and Tony Rice will be at DAR Constitution Hall on Weds. night, May 16.  The tix are a flat $44.50, no group rate exists.  The place is however filling up.  The floor seats are nearly sold out, but the tier (horseshoe shape seating  - balcony like) has some good seats left.  If you've seen a concert at the Patriot Center, this is an even smaller venue.  So the tiers are good seats.

Here's the twist, there is a Nats game that night at 7 p.m.  So, you'll have to make a choice.  I don't have season tix, so it's not a huge deal for me.  And I'm never able to watch every game anyway.

So, if you want to go to the concert and want really good seats, let me know now.  If you wait too long you won't be able to get in or will be in the far back corner.  I'd love to be able to get a little group of us together for this since several of us really like them!  If you want more info on the concert, look under the music thread, I pasted it there several days ago.  But this is a "don't miss" concert!  I want to order the tix by Sunday if possible.

WOW - country/bluegrass can pull Aerosmith prices: LOVE IT!  Obviously, baseball trumps everything, but I'm not sure if that's one of my nights or one of my pardners.

I recall seeing the Seldom Scene at the old Birchmere for 4 bucks at some point...probably the same year I paid $3 to see Bad Brains at the Ontario Theatre.

But sounds like a great show, will check the calendar.

Can't go, will be travelling, but have a ball.  She needs to sing the anthem at RFK this year...maybe our first home playoff game next October.

Bummer Ali!  Hey, I found Ron Block's myspace page.  Maybe I should put in a plug for the anthem.  Maybe since they'll be in town they could scoot over the next day or something!
