I've been living here for 21 years (off and on) and I couldn't care less either.

Of course.

We love the Skins because they are ours, and because they brought us so much joy when Lombardi, Allen, and Gibbs led them to such terrific accomplishments.  If this run of prosperity had begun in 1990 I suspect most of the newbs would have embraced them if not already committed to other loves, but instead you've had little to attract you to them.
