AAA Syracuse Chiefs to take part of special "Futures at Fenway" event versus Pawtucket.

Additionally, there will be a pre-sale starting tomorrow:

The ticket pre-sale for 2010 Futures at Fenway purchasers will begin
on Tuesday, February 8 at 12 p.m. (noon) ET.

Although I highly doubt a Nats fan would have gone to this event last year (especially since no Nats affiliate was involved), if anybody knows how I can get access to the pre-sale, I'd really appreciate it!

It will not sell out early. Hasn't in the past.  If it looks likely that Stras will start, then it will sell out.  Monitor Sons of Sam Horn and their minor league thread on this.  I assume if they start thinking that Stras (or Harper)would be there, then the tickets will start to sell.

I think the Pnats played at RFK once.  I think if Strasburg or Harper were on one of those teams then it would really Sell!

Yeah, you're right. I think it was 2005, a double header Sunday game if memory serves. Dunno if it was the P-Nats or another minor league, lower level than Potomac club, but we did do this once. With Harper et al., it's a mistake not to do this this season. It should be dome every season. Fans that aren't going to Syracuse to see prospects that'll be here eventually would die to have a weekend doubleheader and see the future of the club. But for the team that cancels the Winter Caravan, expecting them to get this would be insane.

hahahahaha so true.  BUT I THOUGHT THE PLAN WAS WORKING?!?!

StanK gets crap on by a good amount of posters on here, because they want to make him the scapegoat for all the losing over the years. 

But this - and the whole inviting other teams fans to Nats Park - are stupid moves by him.

It was May 21, 2006. Second half of a doubleheader after a Sunday game against the Orioles. Clint Everts got rocked in a 14-4 loss to Salem (I was at that game as well)

Futures at Fenway runs $5 - $30 for any seat (including the Monster seats and clubs). I forget if the proceeds I think go to the Jimmy Fund (I thought so, but now mention in the link or the link to the link).
