Robert Onley, the supposed elite baseball Insider for ESPN, has the same amount of scoops as Ladson? Haha.

Much as I hate to admit it, Buzzley Melondroppings broke nearly all the "minor" Nats signings - if I remember correctly, Coffey, Cora, all but Hairston (Heyman).

I'd like to know how many of those scoops are minor (teams just calling a reporter to announce a reliever to a minor league deal) vs. the big name free agents or large trades

Ladson is an MLB employee and more of a team blogger than an actual reporter, so he really shouldn't get credit for breaking news since his scoops are effectively press releases.
