Anyone care to try Expansion Washington Senators trivia? It's playing now at the classic Nats (I and II) site,
http://www.baseball-fever.com/showthread.php?46651-Expansion-Senators-Trivia

For the current team, everyone knows, I hope, the name of the pitcher that Cincinnati received from Baltimore for All-Star, Hall of Famer, and Nats manager Frank Robinson. BUT, Baltimore manager Paul Richards was famous, and ridiculed, throughout baseball for the way he handled his "baby" pitcher, Milt Pappas.

What was it?

Since no one dared, here's the answer: Paul Richards astonished real baseball men when he limited Milt Pappas to 100 pitches per game. No one had worried much about the pitch-count. Now it's everywhere, and Richards' magic number is still the standard...even though it was considered wimpy in 1959 or '60.

Real pitchers threw complete games, and went into extra innings. The great Warren Spahn and equally great, but 20 years younger Juan Marichal, each threw more than 200 pitches in an extra inning game. Spahn was about 42, and "the king of high kicks", Marichal, refused to be taken out as long as old Spahnie pitched.
