Check this out: I met Nook Logan. I was working at a minor league park when he was in the Tigers org. and the players would come up to the concession stands before the gates opened and get Mtn. Dew and stuff. So he comes up one time and we had this exchange:
"Hey, why do they call you 'Nook?'"
(flatly) "I dunno."
Then he just strolled off. And that, Ladies and Gentleman, is my brush with the big leagues.
