Peralta.

Yeah, he likes to pull his shirt up over his right gun, obstensibly to reduce friction and thus increase velocity.  Maybe that's his secret, the garment adjustment.

Is there a way to see how many times a player has been on the DL? For career.

Why is Peralta so much better now than he has been?

I tend not to question it. Let's just hope it sticks.

Cabrera takes some of the worst routes I've ever seen in my life.

Well, he also took some of the best ones, all on the same play.

There was a piece at Nats.com - he went to the DR winter league and learned to be a pitcher instead of a thrower, as the saying goes. His offspeed stuff is filthy.

Well, I wish he was 5 years younger.

Ok sportsfan. He's either trade bait or a keeper.

If he were 5 years younger he'd be 29.  That's older than 25.

Are you watching the game? Did you see the line drive off Hudson? Are you always this dense?

The answers are no, no, yes.

Standing out front, CF entrance, around 6:30 suddenly there was a golf cart on the sidewalk honking for people to get out of the way.  I did a double take to confirm it was Riggleman for no discernible reason.  My first thought was, "Why the hell is he up here 25 minutes before the game?" followed by, "Did he just get fired and they're parading him out in front of the fans?"

Last year, Jesus Colome allowed every inherited runner to score, according to Bob and Rob.

He did while he was a National (9 runners) but as a Brewer he stranded 3 out of 4 inherited runners.

Hate it. Wonder if Hammer and Guzman were traded, or if Riggleman is just a nutball?

In the early going last night, some of my seatmates were wondering if Willingham had been traded since not only wasn't he in the starting line-up last night but we couldn't see him in the dugout.
