On the positive side, the New York Mets were considered to be a Clown Team in the 1960's. They TRADED a nobody to get the Washington Senators' manager, Gil Hodges, who transformed them into the Miracle Mets, who won the pennant and beat the heavily-favored Baltimore Orioles, (who had the dangerous Frank Robinson playing), in the 1969 World Series.

I got tickets for two more games before the end of the season. One of which is the Cardinals series. :oops: I'm sure there will be nothing but die-hards sitting with me...and the beer dudes will be very very busy.

My cousin is in St Louis. If I had tickets next to the Cardinals' dugout, I'd wear a gorilla suit and hold up signs with their kids' names, so they could see it on TV. (Turn these St Louis kids into Nationals fans.)

I'm going on Labor Day, my uncle is paying so I said why not. I also went to the labor day game last year against Florida.
