Stammen really really deserved it last night.

You know, we have two pitchers that are throwing better than Strasburg right now (and i hope I didn't just jinx J.D. Martin).

Worst comment of the month.

Worst comment of the month.

Maybe we should have a "worst comment of the month" poll, and at the end of the year have a playoff for worst comment of the year.

I'm okay with that.  Could have gone to Livan, but Nyjer's worthy.

Remember that the next time he goes 0-5, gets picked off stealing and misreads an easy fly ball in CF.

I wonder if his shtick will be so cute then?

I watched the replay of the interview.  He was Nyjer Morgan on all serious questions, Tony Plush snuck in a few times...so?

No it won't be cute then, but he's entitled to celebrate when he does good.

sometimes you're the biggest debbie downer on this board, jesus dude ... all i said was his postgame interview was entertaining, i didn't say anything about his play.

and now that we're on the subject, he had a good game, hopefully he builds on it.

I know that... I want him to do well, as well... I just don't like his act that he created this year.

he's a high energy, aggressive player who is getting his first long look of action.  i don't think last year was a fluke, but i don't think we all should've expected out of this world numbers.  no excuse though as morgan should be better than what he is, but maybe this will get him going.  and again i like his energy and attitude and i think the clubhouse does as well.

Did you ever see the youtube video where Hitler (a pirates fan) find out that Morgan and Burnett got traded to the Nationals.  "BUT MORGAN IS A FAN FAVORITE!!!!"

No he probably just refuses to wear it.
I'm pretty sure he has even said that it doesn't fit on his head but he wanted to wear it.

than he'd better not go near Fenway.  But Rivers could not field like Mr. Plush (When he is right).
