I'm going to be there Saturday.  :)  Oh, but you wouldn't have time to meet up with ordinary fans, would you.    :(

Probably not. I'll be too busy getting my photo taken with anything that breathes. ;)

I prefer evening games.  They suit my personal schedule and preferences.  This is true whether I attend said games in person or watch them on television.  Therefore, I am dismayed at the number of Saturday afternoon games as attending on Saturday would typically be my first choice.  I get off of work too late to attend Friday games, and I don't like getting up early enough on Sundays to drive up to DC and get on the Metro in time to make the first pitch.

All clear now?

Driving to Saturday or Sunday games with only 20-25k people there is a breeze.  There is virtually no traffic and you can park super close for $20.

Why don't you just get up earlier?

Why would you pay to park "super close" for $20 when you can park 20 yards further away for $10? I don't get it.

I actually found a small-ish city lot at the corner of M and Half St. SouthEast that's only $10 and is set up nicely for making my way back into NoVA

Yup, thats my place to park now too...found it completely by accident.  It's only an extra block walk from the Navy Yard metro stop.  You literally cross the street and run into the $40 lots.  It's amazing they only charge 10 bucks... Although, it is small and seems to fill pretty fast...

Plus there is a 7-11 on the corner so you can buy dogs and drinks for even less than what the concessions outside the gates charge...

I park nearly under the So. Capitol St. bridge, accross So. Capitol from the home plate entrance.  $15, sometimes free street parking if you don't mind mingling with a few cement mixers.
