Yeah, thanks. Forgot about that one. The peanut thing has been a complete mystery to me.
The speculation is that since children are kept so sheltered and protected these days, their immune systems don't have to work like most children's did in the past. So for lack of anything else to attack, they become hypersensitive and start attacking harmless allergens like peanut oil.
