He's having a very mediocre year and he routinely has at bats where he can't do anything with hittable pitches high and on the outer third (i.e. pitches a good hitter should normally destroy).

would i like his average and power to be up?  of course, in that aspect he's been a disappointment. 

i know he's had better second half numbers in the past, so i'm hoping he starts to heat up.  but apparently the clubhouse loves him and i like what i have seen defensively and drawing walks.
