This happens every time this team tries to go for its 4th win in a row. It seems like they'll finish the season with no more than a 3 game winning streak. That has to be some kind of record.

The longest win streak for the the '62 Mets was 3 games.

what sucks the most about this game is that Riggs probably wont put this lineup back out for a while thinking it "can't hit".

And only an idiot would look at ERA over things like K/9, K/BB and WHIP (1.33). Gee is a good pitching prospect who had a very good year at AAA and is having a good MLB debut.

Somebody should be fired for a) keeping Morgan on the roster b) leading off with Nyjer c) using Morgan, in any capacity.
