From the MLB Board:

"The DTV guy just said that they sent a request to the technical team to have this fixed. He said MASN2 had the same problem for the Os game on Wednesday night and that it took until halfway through the game to get it fixed.  Watching on gameday now. Curse you Peter Angelos! May needles pierce your eyes."

"DirecTV just said there was nothing they could do. They gave me a 20 dollar credit (like that helps)."

"Just got off a long phone call with Directv. He's escalating the issue to the national feed, and heard from me that many others (all of you) are having the problem. Our only recourse: checking 671 every now and then tonight."

"I just finally got through to mASN THEY SAID IT IS A BLACKOUT MISTAKE AND IT WILL BE CORRECTED SHORTLY."

"Just got through - the person at MASN said that it is not a Direct TV issue - its a MASN issue. The game should no be blacked out. They don't know why its blacked out only on Direct TV, but they are working with Direct TV techies to get it fixed. Suggest everyone call MASN, wait on hold for however long you have to and complain loudly. Inexcusable. They had to have known about this when the pre-game show came on an hour and a half ago. This deal with Angelos and MASN as a big mistake for MLB and the Nationals. MLB and the Lerners need to do something about it."

"I called the Washington Post. They are going to run a story on this tomorrow. He told his editor to stop the presses, right when I was on the phone. That is so cool."

"Just got off the phone with the Washington Post - running a story about how Angelos's network is blacking out the Nationals in DC. That's one way to improve the Orioles' ratings. I vow NEVER to go to another Orioles game or to watch them on their on their proprietory network. I actually was an Orioles fan until Angelos started screwing with the Nationals TV coverage - it goes back to the first year when the Nats were never on TV."

"Does anyone own a gong?"

Awesome post.  Is this for real??  It would be a great story about Angelos' screwing us!  I said that earlier tonight.
