Why is Bergmann pitching here? This is the #4 slot. Given the choice, I'd like to delay him for as long as possible.
I thought they would do that too. Jerome Williams is pitching tommorrow. Bergmann has always come across as the Nationals biggest project picher. He strikes out a lot of batters and only walks half as many. That gives him potential to become a solid starter - possibly better than other teams' #4 or #5 pitcher. But he's given up a lot of HR's and ER's. Let's hope he gets off to a good start...
