For those of you who may not know, Seaver was originally drafted by the Dodgers but L.A. refused to pay Tom's $70,000 asking price. 
Seaver finished with over 300 wins and a 2.86 career ERA. 2.86. Career!
Pitchers nowadays are considered great if their ERA doesn't go much above four.
I would die a very happy man if Strasburg winds up with those numbers as a Nat.
I would be happy if he can do what Tommy Hanson did last year. I think you'll see him compared to Hanson for a long time.
