I like Wild Turkey a lot more than Beam.
I used to be a Beam drinker, and liked it at the time, but once I directly compared it to Crown Royal, it was exposed, and I began to look for alternatives. Wild Turkey holds up much better in my personal taste vs. the premium brands.
But isn't Turkey a Tennessee whiskey and not sour mash?
