MLB.com scouting report on Haren is somewhat encouraging.

Quote
Haren did not have his best stuff last time out against the Mets at Citi Field. The offense staked him to a 6-0 lead, which usually is more than enough, but the right-hander had to hang on for a 6-5 win. The five runs allowed matched the most he has allowed in a start this year. He took the loss in his start before that against Philadelphia. He said that facing the Phillies' lineup was like pitching in the All-Star Game. The Phillies made him work hard, fouling off pitches and running the right-hander's pitch count up early. Haren left after five innings having already thrown 117 pitches. It was the second successive start in which he has lasted just five innings, the only two times that has happened to him this season.
