5th Inning (Strasburg at 63 pitches); bottom of the Torrero line-up

1st batter:  Ball is lined straight to one of the infielders for a first pitch out.

2nd batter: first pitch heater, second pitch slider, slider down and away, another slider down and away, yet another slider that the batter cannot catch up with. Strikeout #8 (KKBBK)

3rd batter:  This is the guy that homered off of SS earlier.  Last season Strasburg only let up one HR, the batter (McCoy) hit his first college HR of his career.  First pitch is an inside slider.  Inside fastball. Outside fastball.  slider that just misses the strikezone.  Changeup straight over the plate for the out.  Strasburg was in a similar situation where he got up in the count, then fell behind and eventually gave up a hit.  This time, he struck out the batter.  (KBKBBK)  Strikeout #9

at 75 pitches by my count
