freaking bum. there it goes. What a piece of crap. Why won't he throw his freaking 98 mph fastball?

He's terrified of the strike zone. Maybe we can blame St Claire.  :?

Hanrahan clearly is not closer material.
Not even close. Anyone that is afraid to throw their 98 MPH fastball is not a closer. His slider is a nice pitch but if the hitter knows you are afraid to throw your fastball they are going to sit on the slider.

Take it easy there, almost all closers get a BS some time or another...

Plus on the bright side, we don't lose our spot as worst team if we lose this game.

I'm not just basing this on tonight's debacle. I'm basing it on his body of work.

That's a fall back option. We can't even do that right.  :?

what a lucky jerk. McCann's terrible lack of speed did him in. He's the slowest runner in the game.

Thanks a lot Joel. The 0-2 pitch to Francoeur was a disgrace. You did not have to throw him a pitch within a foot of the strike zone to get him out after getting him down 0-2.

That came totally out of nowhere.

Both his HRs this year are off of lefties (Mike Gonzalez and Johan Santana).

Doesn't matter... wins are arguably the most overrated stat in baseball, for this basic reason.

Zimmerman is a STUD. What a great job of battling back from 0-2 against a tough pitcher.  :worship:
