I really want the Nats to throw a no-hitter since we're gonna lose anyway... first team to lose while pitching a no-hitter.
This already happened at least once. Ken Johnson pitched a complete game (9 innings) no hitter for Houston and lost to Cincinnati 1-0 on April 23, 1964. The Nats couldn't even make history.
I think the other times it was done in 8 innings so technically they don't count.
