I didn't say that. I wanted Crews too, and I'm not inclined to call out Rizzo or anyone for taking him. I'm just kind of floored by the idea that things have changed so much in a half season of minor league play that the consensus among prospect raters is that Langford has surpassed him and is now much more likely to be an elite player. I'm kind of floored, tbh, that evaluations can change so quickly, and I'd like to how that's possible.
I think it was possible because Langford outright raked, with the size and production that fits the ranking system exquisitely, while Crews had up and downs.
