I read that, and I also read the non-answer answers from some English teams. Spurs: We remain committed to UEFA etc etc.


Lots of 'Whistlin' Dixie' , over here, from the national leagues and governments. However, it's difficult to see how any action they might take wouldn't just be struck-down, by the Court, as anti-competitive.

Most discussion has focussed on the ESL - however, it is the ECJ's ruling on media rights which could have significant outcomes. The major PL clubs have always coveted having control over their own rights, so it may see the end of collective agreements.
